Top 5 Web & Graphic Design Jobs

We don’t know how it’s happened but somehow it’s Sunday morning again which can only mean one thing – it’s time for the latest Wrap-Up.
This week we’re not going to beat around the bush – we’re going to go straight into it and tell you all about our five favourite new jobs on Bubble right now… and this week, as I’m sure you’ve guessed, it’s all about our web and graphic design jobs. See something that looks interesting in this post? DesignImage LogoFirst up this week, our friends at Design Image are searching for a Senior Graphic Designer to join their graphic design consultancy. Based in Waterlooville, Hampshire, the successful candidate will work as part of a busy team, helping to produce graphic, creative and visual communication solutions (including graphic design, printed media and large format graphics) across all sectors, including construction, retail and leisure. In addition to a great salary, with this position you’ll get a fun working environment and free tea and biscuits (they’ve even got an office microwave too!). Sound good? The right candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years in-house experience, a great track record in a similar role, strong Mac skills and excellent creative/conceptual ability. They’ll also need to have experience managing creative projects (from concept through to completion), an awesome portfolio and a real passion for all things all things design.

RES_MasterLogo_strapP4G_000Next in line, Renewable Energy Systems are searching for a Graphic and Web Designer to join their Group Communications and Marketing team in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will help to create and maintain websites, update adverts and marketing materials and assist for all aspects of design work, including photo sourcing and tidying up presentations and documents. Sound good? To secure this job you’ll need to have experience in HTML, CSS, DreamWeaver and PhotoShop (or Illustrator), have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Desirable skills include experience with SEO, JavaScript/jQuery, Flash and HTML5.

smart artsIn third place this week, Smart Arts are searching for a Junior Web Designer to join their team in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Working across a broad range of projects and technical disciplines for both web-based and mobile solutions, the successful candidate will work in conjunction with the rest of the Smart Arts team (including PR, social and SEO) in a fast-paced fun environment  Tempted? The right candidate for this vacancy will be a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years experience who’s dynamic and self-motivated. Experience in web design, an understanding of different browsers and devices and experience of HTML5, CSS and Photoshop/Fireworks are also essential for this role.

SourcelogoNext up, Source are searching for a Senior Digital Designer to join a leading global agency in London that delivers 360 degree campaigns. Focusing on the design, look and feel of interactive projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering conceptual digital designs across a variety of digital channels (including rich media and email) and liaising with project managers, technical developers and account managers from briefing and client direction. To secure this role you’ll need solid digital design experience from a top 100 agency, strong Photoshop, Illustrator, after effects and Flash skills (actionscript 2 and 3 skills are desirable) and excellent typography, layout and motion skills.

telegraphLast but not least, the Telegraph Media Group are searching for a Head of UX Design to join their team in Central London. OK, so we know this one isn’t technically ‘web and graphic design’ but we thought we’d throw it in anyway! :) Responsible for establishing a more user centric approach to the design and development of products, the successful candidate will help to design and improve online properties, establish user centred principles and monitor and review the design of existing TMG products and services. This role will also entail elements of User Insights, Information Architecture, detailed wireframes and clickable prototypes. The right candidate for this role will have 3-5 years of experience in creating interfaces and large scale websites and applications, experience in UX design, IA and interaction design and strong Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and InDesign skills.
