Appatize Media is a New York start-up looking for a web development rockstar! Our product is a social e-commerce platform. The market competition is fierce but our product is truly a unique solution which will create market disturbance in the coming months. We’ve done a lot of work to develop the concept and create a fully functional product ready for launch. We are looking for some to join the team to focus on desktop, mobile and email campaign design.
We don’t just want pretty mock-ups. The ideal candidate must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment from mock-up to testing to product launch. Your knowledge of technology must be as cutting edge as your designs. Specifically, our core website must be designed with an eye towards today’s screens—multi-browser and multi-device. This will require strong knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript. Finally, you must have a thorough understanding of the social media and e-commerce segments.
Responsibilities
Desktop & Tablet Website Design
Smartphone Browser Design
In-site advertisement
Email Campaigns
Required Technical Skills
Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (Site mockup and/or logo design)
Must be able to hand code HTML5 and CSS3 web pages from wireframes/Photoshop designs
You are a cross browser compatibility expert
Experience with JQuery (and understanding the underlying javascript) is a huge plus!
Mobile Web development experience is a huge plus!
